Powder
Pattern made with glue and then covered in salt
Salted mold made from covering my lips in glue and dipping them in salt then allowing to dry and applying it to painted burlap. The top piece (bottom lip) is facing up with the salted side exposed and the bottom piece (upper lip) is facing down with the mod exposed.
Baked ginger
Baked cinnamon
Salted paint and ink
Powder pigment
Wet face with wash cloth and then applied glitter
Wood
Made by putting a nail through the wine cork, wrapping the end of the wire under the head of the nail, and then pulling apart and fraying the wire to create the illusion of tree roots.
Background stained with tea from the bag to mimic the lines and shapes in a piece of wood. Elephant face is made from burnt matches
Portrait on scrap piece of wood only using burning matches
Dropped ink through the cracks and then outlined the shapes to create a new wood pattern
